There have been several books to inspire me towards my quest for health and others that will help me understand the steps I am taking better. If you are a reader like me, or if you want to boost your knowledge, here are my suggestions.
“The Happiness Project” by Gretchen Rubin
Gretchen did for her happiness levels what I am hoping to do for my health. One month at a time, harnessing the things she had decided were things that would make her happy. At this point, I can only aspire to her level of success. For more information, visit the official Happiness Project Blog
I really enjoyed reading this book as it doesn’t just give you a ‘quick fix’ detox but rather changes you can do to continually improve your health and allow your body to detox the way it was meant to. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it. hehehe
Dr. Batman, as I like to call him, has spent years in varying circumstances studying the effects of water on the human body. He has some very interesting insights. I encourage you to take a look.
An excellent resource to look at the different chemicals that are in our products and alternatives to help us avoid them.
Simple tips to help you live a greener lifestyle. I liked that it wasn’t a harsh approach, but gave you little tidbits you could use to ease into being green.
